Project Description

REPORT:

Situated on the border of Salt Lake and West End, Dower Campus was formerly a training college for teachers and remains very well equipped. The setup for the #NoExcuse workshop was the best of the three Eastern Cape Colleges with audio visual and PA system provided and students well organised.

  • Although slightly disrupted by some students having to leave early to write exams the presentation was very well received with plenty of questions and sharing of personal experiences by students.

  • Many students expressed excitement that finally something was being done on this space of gender- based violence.
